Ibekwe declares interest to vie for 5th Republic NUISS Presidency
Comr. Darlington Flowrymz Ibekwe, CEO Forgetimes Group and National Information Minister NUISS 4th Republic has declared his interest to run for the office of the president, National Union of Imo State Students-NUISS.
Ibekwe made his intentions known on the 1st Day of November 2017 during a meeting with a cross section of bloggers and press men in the state capital of Imo.
Speaking, Ibekwe said "My Major focus if elected would be to change the perspective imo students are viewed with, I'll continue from where the Comr. Nzeh's 4th Republic stopped because I must tell you that the 4th Republic's achievements are still second to none, my Republic would strive hard to give a good face to student unionism and bring everyone together under one roof thereby killing what has been witch hunting unionism known as Factions, my Republic would roll out programmes that would improve the well being of imo students all over Nigeria, my Republic would build a bridge of friendship across borders by relating and partnering with other student bodies outside imo state to build a stronger bond and preach peace to the Nigerian people, the Nuiss 5th Republic would raise leadership oriented youths who would take over the mantle of leadership from us and make great impacts too"
Comr. Ibekwe further stated that his Republic would make sure that NUISS would become that one National students body all other student bodies would look up to.
He ended by thanking the National Councilor Rt. Hon. GTC Samuel for the wonderful job he has done with NUISS so far and the wonderful morals he has inculcated in the union, he also thanked the National Patron, Hon. Dr. Ugwumba Uche Nwosu for always being there for the studentdom and he promised never to let them down if elected.
