Krinpere Douglas, cousin to Timipre Sylva, the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for Bayelsa State, has been kidnapped. He has been an immense support for Sylva in his campaign.
Douglas was kidnapped on Monday afternoon along the Ogbia-Brass waterways when the convoy of boats he was riding in were attacked by the gunmen.
He was reportedly on his way to Okpoma and Brass areas to attend a political rally in support of Sylva.
Nathan Egba, the Director for Media and Publicity of Mr. Sylva’s campaign, confirmed the incident.
