Nigerian hip-hop artiste, Naetochukwu Chikwe popularly known as Naeto C recently made history by becoming the first music star from his country to release an album on music streaming service, Tidal.
The Ten over Ten rapper surprised fans days back when he released a new album, Day 1; his first since 2011. Without any prior notice or jingle, the former Storm Records man released the album on Tidal which is owned by business mogul and hip-hop legend, Shawn Corey Carter known to us all as Jay Z.
When a fan with the Twitter handle @NEPA_Lagos raised an objection as to why Naeto C chose the Tidal platform which is rarely used by Nigerians, the rapper responded:
